Transport
Airtrain
Brisbane’s Airtrain operates trains from Brisbane Airport into Brisbane City and return. The Airtrain station is located outside the Domestic Terminal, or on the 3rd floor adjacent to the International Terminal. Airtrain would like to offer you a special fare of $15.00 return (a saving of $11.00) – this special applies to return tickets only. To download your letter to take up this offer please click here you must present this letter when you purchase your train tickets at the Airtrain ticket counter at Brisbane Airport (These tickets must be purchased at the airport, no discount applies to tickets purchased in Brisbane City)
For train timetables, please refer to our website www.airtrain.com.au, the first train service from Brisbane Airport departs at 6.00am and the last service of the day is 7.59pm, Saturday & Sunday timetables differ slightly and are available online – a timetable is also available at our Airport Stations.
Each return ticket represents a saving of 6.6 kg of exhaust creating carbon emissions. This year alone Airtrain passengers have helped us prevent 1.4 million kg of carbon emissions being pumped into the atmosphere. Thank you for helping reduce our carbon footprint.
Cycling
Brisbane has a cycling network consisting of: on-road bikeways, off-road shared paths and separated pedestrian and bicycle paths.
Bike racks are provided outside the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre should you wish to cycle to the Congress.
