Several categories of accommodation have been reserved for Congress delegates. Please note however that accommodation in Brisbane is limited. As such, the Congress Managers highly recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment.

- Travelodge Garden City Brisbane Hotel has easy access to the Brisbane Convention centre via public bus, which is approximately 30 minutes travel. Bus stop at the Travelodge Garden City is approximatley a 3 minute walk and drop off at the Brisbane Convention Centre is 4 minutes walk to the Convention Centre.
- A minimum one night’s deposit must be paid or credit card details given at time of booking to guarantee reservation.
Group Bookings / Non-listed Hotels
If your organisation would like to make a Group Booking or place accommodation at hotels not listed in this brochure, the Congress Managers can secure rooms and negotiate group rates on your behalf with the hotel of your choice. With a large network of hotel contacts our experienced staff are able to ensure all your needs are met and your booking is managed efficiently.

Rates and Reward Programs
Accommodation held by the Congress Managers has been secured at highly competitive rates for Congress delegates. In addition, delegates who are members of the listed reward programs can earn points by staying at the corresponding hotel. Members should provide their membership card to Reception when checking into the hotel.
Deposit
Rooms are being held by the Congress Managers on behalf of the delegates until 09 July 2009 to the Congress. All hotel accommodation bookings must be accompanied by a minimum one night’s room rate or credit card details in order to secure a reservation. The Congress Managers will accept accommodation deposits up until 09 July 2009 and will settle the deposit with the hotel. Delegates must settle the balance of their account with the hotel concerned upon check out.
Late bookings can be made through the Congress Managers after 09 July 2009 but are subject to availability and credit card details are required to secure the reservation. One night’s room rate will be deducted from the supplied card, by the hotel, if the reservation is cancelled or the delegate fails to arrive on the specified date.
How To Book Accommodation
To book, complete either the Online Registration Form or print the Registration Brochure, complete and either post in to GPO BOX 128, Sydney NSW 2001 Australia or fax it to The Congress Managers via fax number +61 2 9267 5443. The Congress Managers will forward your contact details, reservation and deposit or credit card details to the hotel of your choice.
Change of Booking
Any change to a reservation must be notified to the Congress Managers and not directly to the hotel. Please note that any changes should be made to the Congress Managers by 27 July 2009. Cancellations must be made in writing.
Late Arrivals
Please indicate on your registration form or notify the Congress Managers in writing if you will arrive at your hotel after 1800 hours, failure to do so may mean that your room will be released.
Check-in and Check-out times
Many international flights arrive into Australia in the early morning. For most hotels, Check-in time is 3.00pm and Check-out time is 11.00am. Should you wish to guarantee check-in before 3.00pm you will need to pre-book, and pay for the previous night. If you wish to guarantee a late checkout you will need to book for the next night. These additional nights can be booked at the time of making your reservation. If required please indicate on your registration form.
Hotel Check in Procedures
As per standard hotel policies and procedures delegates will be required to provide a credit card or full cash payment upon check in. This is to cover any incidental charges incurred during your stay and all remaining unpaid room nights, regardless if your booking was guaranteed by a deposit to secure your booking.
The hotel will hold on your credit card, until point of check out, all unpaid accommodation nights reserved plus a daily amount for incidental charges. If you will be settling your accommodation account by cash you will be asked to pre pay for your accommodation in full plus a cash deposit for incidentals. Should you not utilize any incidentals during your stay the cash deposit, for incidentals only, will be refunded to you by the hotel upon check out.
Please note the daily incidental charge may vary across the listed hotels. Should you wish to confirm the amount that will be held against your card prior to check in, please contact the hotel directly.
As per individual hotel policy, delegates paying their account by credit card may incur a credit card service fee.
Accommodation Refunds
The deposit is non-refundable at 09 July 2009 and will be forfeited if you do not arrive on the date for which you have booked. Cancellations must be made in writing.
